I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your children.  I was born and raised in San Diego and lived here most of my entire life (I spent 2.5 years living abroad in Switzerland).  I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and emphasis in Child Behavior. This is my fifth-year homeschooling, and I am a wife and mom of two, Campbell - 11 and Madelyn - 9.

I spent 7 years working at SeaWorld, 5 of those working in the Education Department focused on teaching kids and adults about marine life.   During my time there, I worked closely with the animal care and training staff, educated large groups of adults and children at various animal exhibits throughout the park, provided behind the scenes in-depth tours, and taught classroom dissection lessons.  This wide variety of activities has provided me with in-depth knowledge of the care and rescue/ rehabilitation of marine animals. I am passionate about marine life and am so excited to open the eyes and hearts of your kids to ensure they have a better understanding and knowledge of marine life through this amazing program.
